“The Piano is my voice, I play what I feel...”
— Raelene Bly
About Me
I began piano lessons at the age of five. Music quickly became a place where I could express myself in ways words never could.
At twelve, after a difficult stage performance, I became overwhelmed with stage fright and walked away from formal lessons. Although I stopped playing publicly, I never stopped improvising. Music remained a constant companion, and the piano became a place where I could explore emotion, creativity, and my own musical ideas.
At twenty-five, I returned to classical piano study at the University of Lethbridge. As my love for composing grew, I continued learning from talented pianists, composers, and music professionals who helped shape my artistic voice.
Today, I create original music for piano and handpan. Much of my music begins as improvisation and is shaped by emotion and stillness.
Alongside composing and recording, I teach piano from my home studio and enjoy helping students discover their own love of music.
I am currently working toward releasing my first album of original music.
